ABOUT: GARY ANTHONY TAGGART G.S.E.B

Gary has been a Golf Professional and High-Performance Golf Coach for 30 years. He has coached all levels of golfers ranging from tour players to beginners. Gary has worked with some of the best coaches on the European Tour and US Tour; these include his coach and mentor Chuck Cook, Ben Doyle, Jim Flick, and Robert Baker. His teaching style comes from years of working on the principles of the golfing machine and modern golf biomechanics. In addition, he has studied with Dr Young Hoo Kwon, a PhD biomechanist who has worked with Tiger Woods and golf coach Chris Como.

He holds a degree in Golf Biomechanics, is a proud member of the Titleist Performance Institute, and has trained and attended many courses in professional golf. His teaching style is based on the three imperatives of the golf swing:

A: A good impact position creating a flat left wrist.

B: A straight plane line.

C: Lag with body pivot and kinematic sequence.

Gary has delivered many golf seminars and workshops for education, local government, governing bodies, and large multinational companies. These include Glasgow City Council, East Ayrshire Council, South Lanarkshire Council, BBC Sport, Real Radio, Commonwealth Games, and Ryder Cup in 2014. Most recently, the 2018 European Championships.

He is a coaching consultant with male and female tour players and has over 2500 private and business clients.

Services

GOLF COACHING WORKSHOPS

Golf coaching workshops are fun and interactive and allow companies and organizations to experience golf and discuss business outside the typical office meeting environment. There are two packages available that will suit the needs of the clients. All packages include lunch with tea and coffee provided at registration. The studio has a conference room for presentations and a fully staffed kitchen and dining area. The listed building is a restored 1700s church renovated to a modern studio with full onsite parking and a children's nursery.

The workshops are designed for all levels of golfers or non-golfers, from advanced to beginners. There are two packages available a half-day workshop or a full-day workshop. All equipment is provided. The workshops cover the full golf swing and short game, including putting. The golf simulator allows the clients to play any golf course from the library of 45 courses, as well as fun target par 3 challenges. Each delegate will be given a plan of improvement and a booklet of drills which will include golf biomechanics and fitness exercises.

Costs: Half-day workshop for 14 clients- £450

Half-day workshop for 7 clients- £295

Full-day workshop for 14 clients- £650

Full-day workshop for 7 clients- £495

The full workshop plan and lunch details will be sent out 12 days before the commencement. The Golf studio and facilities can be hired out for private functions or professionals wishing to bring their own clients. Contact for details.
